The Friar Tuck:

Located on Cagan Crossings Blvd right off of US-27 is The Friar Tuck. Rated the number one restaurant in all of Clermont by TripAdvisor, the Friar Tuck is a comfy English café that was opened in January of 2017. The Friar Tuck is known for their breakfast menu full of authentic English plates, including Corned Beef Hash and Eggs, Crumpets and Jam, Scotch Eggs. Friar Tuck also has an amazing, diverse lunch menu including items such as roast chicken in several different English styles, classic Rueben’s, steak and mushroom pie, and much more. Don’t miss out on The Friar Tuck’s dessert menu, which is referred to as “Puddings”, that includes bread pudding, Fresh Cream, and Friar’s Pudding of the Day. One of the signatures of The Friar Tuck is “The Sunday Roast” that is served every Sunday at 1 pm until they sell out. Guru Restaurant and Catering:

Located on US-27 by the Harley-Davidson Dealership is one of Clermont’s best-kept secrets, Guru Restaurant and Catering. Voted the #2 restaurant in all of Clermont, this Indian Cuisine is authentic as it gets, for the General Manager and Head Chef Uday Kadam, was born in a small Indian village near Bombay and grew up with Buddhist Gurus that led him to his incredible restaurateur career where he worked for the Taj Mahal Hotel, Marriott International, and eventually Disney’s Polynesian Resort. It was while working at Disney when Uday found his wife and decided to open a restaurant of his own in Clermont. Guru’s extensive Indian menu includes “seafood, chicken, beef, and vegetarian mouthwatering dishes.” Guru also offers an exclusive Indian bread menu. Entrees on the menu range from $15 to $23, but reviews boast of Guru’s healthy sized servings. The Guru Restaurant is open Monday to Saturday and opens at 4 pm. Uncle Kenny’s BBQ and Catering:

Located on US-27 in Clermont, right next to the Citrus Tower, is Uncle Kenny’s BBQ, an award-winning BBQ joint locals rave about. Founded in 2004 by two college friends from Missouri, Uncle Kenny’s BBQ brings the heat with a Midwest style. Some of Uncle Kenny’s signature starters include Mac N Cheese bites, Pulled Pork Nachos, and BBQ Pulled Pork Eggrolls. Depending on the size of your appetite entrees range from BBQ baskets including BBQ pork tacos to classic BBQ sandwiches to huge “Pitmaster Plates” such as fried catfish or full slab rib plates that come with two southern fixings. Families can order “Big Daddy’s Family Feast” that easily feeds four to six adults for $47.99. And you can’t forget to finish a classic BBQ dinner without Uncle Kenny’s sweet peach cobbler. Uncle Kenny’s BBQ also attends many local BBQ competitions to showcase their talents, and also has a retail store where they sell their finger licking BBQ sauces and specialty cookers.
